Guardian Word of the Week: Release

Lately I’ve been really uplifted by the idea of release.

I love the feeling I get when I shift into a mindset of releasing the physical possessions that aren’t bringing true value to my life, and it’s a mindset that can be applied to every area of our lives.

Repeat it with me now and see what comes up for you:

Did you feel a sense of relief, or did you feel resistance to “giving something up”?

If you felt resistance, tune into your heart and asked to be shown the things in your life that you would be better off releasing:

Often when we are asked to release, a strong fear of not having enough surfaces within us. Bring this fear out of hiding, and in your mind’s eye, place it on a table in front of you.

Now place the thing you are considering releasing next to the fear of not having enough. Observing them outside of yourself gives you a new objectivity.

Tune in to your heart again and ask if releasing this thing will actually cause you to not have enough:

Continue this conversation as you empower yourself to release everything that’s in the way of you becoming your truest, most shining self!
